I work in the property management division of Riverstone Residential Group in downtown Seattle Lease up’s. I am always looking for a great way to market a home. Working at Moda I met Sally when she and her husband, Darik, leased a few homes for their Seattle Oasis Vacation Rentals. Sally blew me away when I saw how beautifully she designed each home.
Moda offers some of the smallest square footages that downtown Seattle has ever seen, so I had my work cut out for me. After seeing what Sally had done with her vacation rentals I enlisted her services to start a guest suite for the community. This would also serve as a backup model if need be. Sally really took the time to understand what we wanted to see happen with the 438 sq. ft. one bedroom. She asked great questions as to what color scheme was I looking to stay within and what type of items would I like to have available in the home for our guests. If you actually take the time to think of all of the things someone would actually use in their day to day life, it is quite mind boggling. It is amazing how well Sally compiled this suite. From blow dryers, laundry detergents, extra sheets, patio furniture, can openers to even duvet clips.
Overall I am shocked at how well Sally made 438 sq. ft. look like 650 sq. ft. No detail went forgotten and the level of execution extremely impressive. Not only was Sally able to provide a portfolio of the work projected and completed before and after, she was also able to provide a breakdown of where the money was spent and in which category it was used for. This was very helpful for budgeting as well as if we decided to make another suite, I would surely know all that I would need.
Sally and Darik are a wonderful team and I enjoyed working with each of them immensely. I know where I am heading next time I need a designer!
